Negi is the leader of Ala Alba, a key fighting force in the United Magical Girl Association of Japan. He met Nanoha the Green Devil of Earth during his battle against Fate Averruncus. His next appearance was him coming to her aid when the Wolkenritter attacked Nanoha. Although originally he was holding his own against Vita, when Shamal grabbed his Linker Core through a portal he soon was unable to fight at that level.
